About me

Over 16 years ago, I convinced Daymond John—CEO & Founder of the billion-dollar brand FUBU and star of ABC’s Shark Tank—to let me intern for him free. Daymond thought free was a good price and had me start immediately.

That moment turned into a career. Today, I serve as President of The Shark Group, Daymond’s brand strategy and consulting firm, where I lead our work across investments, partnerships, and innovation.

From managing our Shark Tank portfolio companies to advising Fortune 500 brands and A-list talent, I’ve helped drive results for clients including JP Morgan Chase, Aflac, Salesforce, Meta, Shopify, Bombas, Carlos Santana, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Pitbull – and of course Daymond John. I also oversaw the creation, development, and release of three New York Times best-selling books, and I’ve led award-winning digital events recognized with 4 Webby Awards. Named to Variety’s Hollywood New Leaders list, my work spans business development, brand strategy, media, and tech. I’m especially focused on helping bold ideas scale through the right partnerships and storytelling.

Outside of work, I live in New Jersey with my wife Jess and our two kids, Teddy and Elle. I’m endlessly curious about media, entrepreneurship, and the future of small business—and always looking for new ways to help others build their best business.
